Peer Review
Submissions may undergo editorial screening followed by blind review by multiple qualified reviewers. Reviewer recommendations inform the process; final editorial decisions remain with authorized IJATL editors.
Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are based on scholarly merit, relevance, integrity, and review. Submission administration fees, subscriptions, sponsorships, or other commercial relationships do not determine acceptance.
Conflicts of Interest
Authors, reviewers, and editors should disclose relationships or interests that could reasonably be perceived to affect scholarly judgment. Editors may reassign manuscripts or reviewers when conflicts are present.
Research Integrity
IJATL expects accurate attribution, truthful reporting, appropriate authorship, and disclosure of material limitations. Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, manipulated peer review, or misrepresentation may result in rejection or post-publication action.
Corrections, Expressions of Concern & Retractions
Material errors may be corrected transparently. Serious unresolved integrity concerns may warrant an expression of concern or retraction, with the publication record preserved where appropriate.
Reviewer Confidentiality
Unpublished manuscripts and review materials are confidential. Access should be limited to individuals authorized for the editorial task.
Privacy & Account Data
The public static website does not require an account to browse the recovered archive. Author, reviewer, editor, and subscriber information will be handled in the separate journal platform under the applicable privacy notice when live account services are enabled.
Accessibility
IJATL aims to make public journal information and core publishing workflows accessible to a broad scholarly audience and will continue testing accessibility as the relaunch platform is completed.
